I have a broad knowledge of the field of pedagogy and technology in higher education as exemplified by these two artifacts. The first, an evaluative literature review on the use of video games in math/science instruction, demonstrates the ability to prepare an in-depth survey and analysis of the current state of a particular subtopic in academic technology. The second, an “Academic Technology Resource Guide,” demonstrates the range of resource locations that I keep up with and some of the tools, such as RSS and social bookmarking, that I use to do so.
